There’s an iCloud sync, if you need to make or edit notes on other devices and some setting regarding the writing experience. No clutter, no distractions and exactly what you need to get some heavy writing done. This is an app which puts the focus on writing and writing only. This is probably the single-most reason why I don’t think that Word is the best app to do some text processing on the iPad and the reason I look into other apps at the moment. However, in Word on the iPad, there’s no function to create or at least edit a table of contents of a document.
